So, basically, this is my first fan-fic or whatever, so I hope this goes well. Featherkit, Joykit, Opalkit, and Lightkit are born to a beautiful MudClan she-cat by the name of Lintmeadow. In hopes of becoming a medicine cat apprentice, Lightkit often visits the medicine den to speak with the medicine cat, Silvertread. Lightkit and his sisters become apprentices, and all seems well, until StoneClan attacks, killing Opalpaw, Along with two other warriors by the names of Copperpool, and Flowerface. After the fight Lightpaw notices that Silvertread has gone missing, and asks Clawstar is he can search once he has healed the worst of the injured cats. Clawstar allows Lightpaw to search for his mentor, but Silvertread's body is never found. Is Silvertread dead, or is she alive? And how will Lightpaw finish his training if he no longer has a mentor?

Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. However, when StarClan tell her of this evil, she may get the chance to prove herself to everyone. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. For her, everything seems to go wrong. Every plan, every schedule, every patrol - ends up in a disaster, and its always because of her.
