Ryan Knight and Mara Cruz grew up side by side in the demanding world of journalism, a life that had created years of absentee parenting. Fast friends, the duo quickly made a name for themselves in high school while learning the ropes of the Cruz's family business. A falling our during the pairs senior year, caused their childhood friendship to go up in flames, only to be completely doused by Ryan's quick departure from NY to Las Vegas, shortly after graduation. Now at the ripe age of 22, Ryan is prominently known as a playboy while Mara is top editor in chief of Cruz: Women. Neither Ry nor Mar looked back on their ruined relationship, until a chain of events force the ex-friends to once again come face to face, four years after their falling out. The two must now learn to cope with their brash feelings and look past their old mistakes, because even the deepest hate, causes a little want.

"What's with the glare? Just a few admirers for the beauty, West." I smirk, teasing his jealousy. "Because beautiful doesn't justify you sweetheart, you... you're not just beautiful, you're extraordinary. And it drives me mad. I don't want anyone else laying eyes on you. They wouldn't survive the night if they tried." "What will you do about it? Threaten them?" I move closer to him. His hand finds my face, gently stroking my cheek, "If I have to. Anyone who thinks they can take you, better think twice. You are precious to me, you're not just another pretty face. You are mine and I'm yours, and I intend to keep it that way. " **************** Madison Rose Monroe is a charming, yet stubborn 18-year-old that wants nothing but to pass her senior year at Mount View High. Getting through her classes is all she wants. Her friends, her grades and her crazy family is all that matters to her. Kaleb West, an arrogant 18-year-old, with no manners. He doesn't care about any other then himself, not to mention he is a womanizer too. He is heartless, and ruthless. Kaleb and Madison have known each other for their whole lives, but never dared the word 'friendship'. He is the guy that made it his life's mission to make her miserable. Even though Madison despised Kaleb she had to admit that the guy was built like a model straight out of a Calvin Klein Magazine. Flawless Greek God. Luckily, they never crossed paths that often, and since it was their last year at Mount View High, it was rare they would ever cross paths again. That was until they get put together in a group project and all hell is broken loose. What happens when they start spending time together, is the time spent together really that bad? Read along to find out what happens with their crazy ex's and families, high school parties, deep secrets and not to mention their CRAZY crazy friends. Start date: 04/03/2024 End date: ~ongoing~

Mara has always been in the shadows of her three sisters. First there's Tate, the youngest, who has an incredible amount of talent and passion for dance. Then there's Adalynn, the most popular girl in the junior class who is embarrassed to have a sister as lame as Mara. And finally, there's Baileigh, the oldest of the four and Mara's best friend who moved across the country last summer to follow her dreams. Out of the four sisters, Mara is the only one with absolutely no plans, but she likes it that way. All she's looking forward to is following Baileigh to Los Angeles after graduation. Until then, she's fine with being the girl in the hallway that no one talks to, and she likes drinking smoothies alone at Bigfoot's Diner. She prefers it that way. But what happens when Mara is thrust into the world full of drama that she has always been able to avoid? Will she be able to find her way back out? Or will she want to stay?
