Being alone? Check. Being afraid? Check. Being abused? Check times 3. Honestly, my life wasn't this bad before, not until I ended in foster care... SIKE! My life was always bad. From the moment I was born, I lived with an abusive father who blamed me for my mother's death, and even I couldn't disagree with him. Here are a few questions I am constantly asked: 'Do I do well in school?' No, are you kidding me? The only subject I'm good at is Visual Arts. 'Do I have a kind and caring family?' No, I don't think I do. 'Do I have anyone who cares about me?' No, I'm a loner and socially awkward. 'Do I have privileges?' No, if you haven't understood the message yet, I live in an abusive household. Now, you might ask if there are any questions the answer is yes. I'll give you some. 'Do I want to die?' Yes, I sometimes do. 'Do I feel alone in this world?' Yes, always. 'Do I get a beating every day?' Yes. *** This is Amara Williams, a 13 year-old with average grades and no friends. What happens when her only guardian, her dad, is dead? What happens when she finds out that she has five older brothers who are not only strict and demanding, but also protective assholes? More importantly, what happens when she finds out that she was taught lies from the moment she was born? Follow Amara as she digs deeper into her family history, uncovering the secrets and discovering the lies. ___ ⚠️ Trigger Warning ⚠️ There will be mentions of abuse, r@pe, self harm, death, and many other dark themes. I have given a warning now, and I will give a TW in each chapter when reading for safety reasons. However, I want all of my readers to know what to expect so that they can decided for themselves if they want to read. "Being mute isn't a disability. It just means that God loves you so much that He took away your voice so that you don't hurt others verbally. You see, He doesn't want you to do what others are doing to you." ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ When Sierra Bloom suffers a tragedy that costs her both her family and her voice, she shuts down every bit of emotion and passion within her and brings out a new and cold her that doesn't like being around people and things that are easy to get attached to. Enter David Hale. Cheerful, bright, friendly -a shocking contrast to her cold, closed off personality. Not only does David do things she dislikes, he also does not know when to give up on her. What is Sierra supposed to do when he keeps bringing out the old her and makes her forget the tragedy she caused? The answer is obvious; shut him out and run away. That's the solution.... right? ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ This book was written in 2013, back when I was still pretty much a kid. It hasn't been edited and there are many issues I find with it. I may or may not edit//re-write, but if I do I don't think I'll post it here. At least, for now. In any case, the person I was then is not the person I am now lmaoo but I'm still proud of younger me for this cute little thing. I love all my lovely, LOVELY readers who have sent me such beautiful messages about this book ♥ Thank you for loving my book, it means the world to me. ⌔ - 2023 Update ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ Achievements: General Fiction: #81 Romance: #186 Kisses: #4 ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ ⌔ All Rights Reserved. (FINISHED WRITING, BEING REVISED!) An only child, by the name of Nathaniel, has a very unfortunate life. Unpopular, bullied, and outcasted by everyone at school; even his own parents didn't want him! He's miserable... At least that was until his eighteenth birthday where he has the most bizarre encounter. A break-in at his own home from an organization that holds a secret from the entire world! Now, he attempts to find his life's purpose, coming across many friends as well as enemies, many obstacles, great pain, deep love, and important life lessons. It's up to him to decide whether or not he's the one in control of his own life. !!!CAUTION!!! IF YOU ARE ONE TO READ BOOKS BY THE LAST CHAPTER TO SEE IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, CHAPTERS TOWARD THE END OF THIS BOOK CONTAIN HUGE SPOILERS THAT MAY RUIN OR ALTER THE DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND ENJOYMENT AND IF YOU STILL WISH TO READ THE LAST CHAPTER I SUGGEST CHAPTER 53! Info of my writing style and this book: • This book is written from the first-person point of view. Everything he thinks about; everything you read, will be the exact moment of everything that's happening. When Nathaniel gets cut off and interrupted, his thoughts will be interrupted as well. • I'll put seven periods to indicate a change in the scene; to show that time has passed since the last scene. • Bolded names are important characters to Nathaniel and the story • This book contains vulgar and sometimes erotic descriptive language. • This book is targeted toward a young adult audience.

"Fuck my life.." I grunted. I can't believe my last words were going to be useless. I half expected it to be "tell mom I love her" or some sappy shit like that. But turns out my last words we're utterly useless. How I got here? Trust me I don't know, I was sipping the liquid from my red cup the first second and the next thing I know is I'm running towards him. ••• Well, Juliet Evans have always hated the football team due to the trauma they inflicted on her brother- they outed him from his closet, if you know what I mean. Ever since that day they have been harassing him physically and emotionally. As his twin, she took it upon herself to protect him- if she had to swing a fist, you bet your asses she would! Here enter Luke Rivers, he was a part of the "No Brainy Bunch" as Juliet liked to call the Football team. Sure he stayed in the sidelines and watched his friends do horrible things- that's what Juliet hates the most, the bystanders who never bat an eyelash when it comes to abuse. He was automatically an asshole by association. Because after-all, Birds of the same feather flocks together right?
