"Sometimes the only way to protect people, while still keeping them happy, is to not tell them what they are being protected against." -Enoch Thornsburry, 1st Director of EAGLE (1784) **************************************** Tony Granthemus "Grant" Woods is no ordinary 17-year-old. He is trained in 13 different forms of martial arts, is fluent 9 languages, and can outshoot anyone in North America. On top of all that, he is an agent of EAGLE, a top-secret government organization dedicated to protecting the United States (and the rest of the world) from things society is not yet ready to face: aliens, supernatural happenings, ghosts, people and objects of power, you name it. Grant was recruited for EAGLE's Underage Espionage Program, code named "Chameleon", when he was 13. Since then, he has risen through the ranks to become one of their best agents. His talents and supernatural ability to sense danger before it happens has led him to be trusted with some of EAGLE's most important missions. At the age of 16, Grant was trusted with the long-term mission of running security to protect Rey Garant, Director Alexander Garant's impulsive and strong-willed daughter. His orders were simple and straightforward: protect her, but do it in secret. Don't let her find out about EAGLE. At first these orders are easy to follow, but as time goes on and Grant grows closer to Rey, who happens to be his age, the secrets get harder and harder to keep. As if that wasn't enough, EAGLE has found itself in the middle of a worldwide race between countries to uncover the Azdarak, a mysterious ancient gem that is rumored to have the ability to power the entire world, or to destroy it. When Grant goes on the case, and begins to dig deeper, he realizes things are not what they seem. People are not who they seem. He has enemies everywhere. And quite a few of them appear to be within EAGLE itself. Eagle Publishing Company, all rights reserved.

The Spy

"You are so gosh dang stubborn that it kills me. I don't want you to stay away Alex, but you have to. It is for your safety. I am not good. I will ruin you." He said not taking his gaze off of me. "I don't care how bad you are Jacob. Ruin me. I don't care." ********************************************************************************************** If you took one look at Alex Bailey you would think she is just a normal, shy, nerdish, girl. Alex is a senior in high school. She is clumsy, loves reading, and loves to sing and draw. She is smart, good girl, and can be very fierce when needed. During the day she is normal but at night she is a spy. Bailey was told to go on a mission with her 2 best friend Benny and Kenna, where she meets Jacob. Jacob Davis is what you would call a bad boy, he also is a gang-leader to the biggest gang in the world. He smokes, parties, he has dealt with gangs, basically does what some teenagers nowadays do. He also hides behind his hood. He only talks to his best friends. He doesn't like social interaction. No one one has seen his face besides his friends. He doesn't date. He hates it. He doesn't like to be tied down. That is until he meets the shy, fierce, nerdy girl, Alex. Something about her long brown wavy hair, piercing blue eyes, and freckles, made him go crazy. He wants her to be hid. He is protective and possessive over her. He hates it when other boys talk to her.
