Once upon a time, there once was a stone castle nestled deep inside rolling seas of green fields, its shore being the thickness of a thriving forest teeming with life. In this castle lived a queen and a king, the queen being the famed Ruby Red whose cheeks were as rosy as an apple's, hair as golden as fallen leaves, lips as virtuous as a blooming pink flower, and a voice as pure as a robin's. The king was the queen's saviour, her gleaming knight in armor when she sat on death's doorstep, moments from knocking. Now that's a story for another time, this story is about their daughter, Briar Rose. Their daughter who they threw a christening for, and forgot to invite the Black Crow of the Enchanted Forest. Their daughter who is the beauty of the people. Their daughter who is the princess of the Enchanted Kingdom.

!!!Undergoing Editing!!! *previously known as The Red Queen Effect* "It's strange what desires could make foolish people do. I'd never dreamed that I'd love somebody like you, And I never dreamed that I'd lose somebody like you." ~ Wicked Game by Chris Isaak There were many times that I could remember hearing the stories about people falling in love or meeting their one true love. Stories that had allowed me to fantasize about meeting my true love, the one that fate had chosen for me. However, it seemed like it truly was never meant to be, according to my grandmother, "Love is a Queen's greatest weakness. Remember, my dear granddaughter, you are a Princess now but you will soon be a Queen who will rule with an iron fist and an empty heart." But was love truly a weakness? According to the stories that I have read and heard around the castle, love seemed to be something magical and incredible, especially if it was true love. So, how could someone determine it to be a weakness? It wasn't until I landed in Neverland that I had to find out the truth the hard way, in the most excruciating and heart-wrenching way possible. Yet, It was my fault after all, I decided to make a game out of it and someone else decided to use that to their advantage. If I was given the chance to change something from my past it would have been to prevent myself from all of the heartache that was to come. Maybe then I could have saved myself the trouble of having to rip out my own heart. But you know what they say, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree." I am the daughter of the Evil Queen, the granddaughter of the former Queen of Hearts, there is no such thing as a happy ending for people like me. What a Wicked Game life plays. *Comments and votes are always welcomed. ** I do not own Once Upon A Time, only my characters Clara, Ravenna, Kingsley, and Flynn and any ideas for this story.

It was the start of a war, a war against Elves as men came to reign. The human King Jonathan was not fond of elves, he felt they were not loyal to him which meant they would have to perish. He sent his armies of men and beast to hunt them down to slaughter them. They started with the wood elves then moved to the mountain elves which led to the snow elves, who were counted as the most beautiful people because of their fair skin and snow white silk like hair, all of them had brown eyes except for their most recent born Princess Lillian, her eyes were crystal blue. She was only three years old when her kingdom was attacked, her guardian Clyde who was a lion / man beast got her out of the castle because his one priority was the Princess's safety. He did get her away from the castle but he was attacked by bandits and as he fought with the bandits a woman who was gathering herbs and berries spotted Lillian, the woman saw the beast and bandits fighting and felt that the little girl was in trouble so she grabbed Lillian and ran back to her village.
