One night Reagan has a strange dream that tells her to follow her dream and sends her and her best friend, Quinn, down an unfamiliar pathway in the woods. The path leads them to a mysterious cave that doesn't give them an option. They must choose three super powers each or die in the cave. So the girls make a decision and change their lives forever. Their future now holds epic battles with super villains, dark government secrets, and  disappointing truths about their lives. What will this all do to the girls long lasting friendship?

It was dark and dusty. "How long until you think they come, if they come." "I don't think it will be long before they realise. I'm sure she must have some way of knowing when the timeline changes." "Suppose the timeline hasn't changed and this was apart of the plan all along," a voice said in the darkness. "What if something as small as this doesn't change the outcome of this timeline," Mistress Mind snickered as she emerged from behind the wall. Her visor glowed in the darkness. She leaned against the wall. "Did you think something this small would be able to stop us." "We had hoped," I fired up my pendent.

Aliens have been here before... one was left behind. Eighteen-year- old Zoe must find him and she doesn't have much time. Along with the alien, a beacon was left on Earth which when activated, opens a portal through which the aliens will return. The extraterrestrials visit Earth to usurp Qi, Earth's vital energy. If the extraterrestrials go too long without Qi, people on the alien planet will die. However, when Qi is extracted from Earth, the weak and elderly of Earth will die. The beacon can only be activated by the alien who was left here and only when the planets are in a particular alignment. The next time is only two months away during the Autumnal Equinox. When Zoe discovers who the alien is, it's a complete game changer because the alien is closer to her than she ever could have imagined. The story takes place in a small town surrounded by forest near the Oregon-California border. Of course it does, after all, the highest concentration of Qi is found in forests where ancient redwoods grow. You might be wondering, what is Qi? In Japan it is called "ki," and in India, "prana"." The ancient Egyptians referred to it as "ka," and the ancient Greeks as "pneuma." In Africa, it's known as "ashe" and in Hawaii as "mana." Qi, Prana, Ki, call it what you will, this energy is the life force itself.

ORIGINAL (This story is actually/sorta is based off from in real life but not really. Fiction-Fantasy-Romance, however you guys want to call it.) Cayenne, main character of this story, (also in her POV) starts dreaming in a land called Dream and about these creatures called Dreamers with one power each. When she realized she has been kidnapped by the Dreamers, she was selected to become the new Queen of Dream. Someone has called her name and she disappeared from Dream. Cayenne woke up by her friends yelling at her saying she has 'vanished'. After telling what happened, they quickly searched up the Land Of Dream. It said only if Infinity and Energy joins together, they can create the same pathway that was there from the human world to the dream world. Without knowing, bad Dreamers came inside her house and kidnapped her friends. 8 of the bad Dreamers, were unlucky and was killed by Cayenne's magical powers. To Cayenne's shock, humans were not supposed to have such powers; she was the legend the website said, Infinity. Some of her friends were left and the Royal Dreamers came for the search party. Who started this war and will she get her friends back and find Energy to create the pathway connecting to the human world and the Dream world? Please read this book, to find out, what happens next.

That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. The superpowers news turned out to be quite original for the rest of the world, which was entirely unaware someone like her existed at all. There is, however, an underground world of others like her, a criminal empire working toward something she had been trying to stop. But with no knowledge of what the villainous plan was, who these criminals were, or how to properly use her powers, things seem grim. She knows she is the only one who can stop them, and the only backup she has is a man who claims to have been her friend from before the accident. Will she be able to train her powers up, and stop the devious master plan before it's too late?
