I'm a high school girl, living in the United States of America, I'm only 16, life is supposed to be great, right? I'm living in one of the wealthiest countries on the earth, expectations aren't half as hard as most other people. Well, that's how it's supposed to be. I'm supposed to be getting drunk, and spending nights out with my friends, right? Of course, I would be doing that, if the United States hadn't been attacked and infested with what is called "The Daemonous infestation", but basically what everyone calls "The Returned" five years ago. We don't know where they came from, why they're here, all we know is that they need to leave, and we don't know how to kill this infestation. They claim to have been here before us, this is their home, we're the invaders. They look just like us, but they kill off quickly. Super speed, super strength, different levels of communication, and fangs, everything to describe a vampire. Everything I saw in the movies, had now become my life.

Saved

"I've realized, over the past few years of high school, that people are like vampires. They suck your dignity, self-confidence, and your self-esteem right out of your body, like it's blood. They infect you with the poison of hatred, greed, and selfishness. You can't escape their venom, as it's always there, lurking in the darkness, waiting for the perfect moment to strike. I've learned to deal with the sting of the bite, as it never goes away. I tried to not be infected, but the poison spreads like a wildfire, eating away at every inch of your body, until you disintegrate into nothing, and you're forgotten." 🏅achievements🏅 as of 12/30 - ranked #68 in suicideawareness as of 12/30 - ranked #888 in anxiety
