Eirwen is a fourteen-year-old girl who has been moving around her whole life. When her parents move back to Imya, and enroll her in a school that only accepts people born there, she suddenly becomes self-conscious about how she looks compared the others-which is to say, she looked like a tourist. When she discovers the truth about herself, and her powers, her life takes a massive turn, as she makes friends, creates enemies, and unlocks a bit of herself.
