"Hook! Long time no see." The figure says as it lands in front of my horror stricken father and I.
My father still laying on the ground then scrambles to his feet drawing his sword with a shaky hand.
"P- Peter?" He stampers out with a confused look on his face.
The person standing in front of us had long fiery red hair and a seemingly permanent smirk on their face. They were grinning widely at our confused expressions. Did I mention the set of breasts?
"It's Pan now actually." She says pointing the tip of her sword at my chest. "And who exactly are you?"

Despite my protests, he roughly grabs my arm and hauls me away from the group of boys and into the surrounding forest. I wait until I'm sure we are out of earshot before I make my move. I stamp on his foot hard. He winces and loosens his grip just enough for me to break free. I then kick him in his midsection causing him to lose his balance and snatch his spear away. I use the blade to slice the ropes binding my wrists and before Davis has time to call for help, I knock him out with one swing of the weapon. His unconscious form slumps to the ground and lays motionless at my feet. I grimace. He's going to have a huge lump on his head when he comes around. How Peter Pan Grew Up (A Bridge-Fic Between "Peter Pan" and "Hook")
I know this must come as a shock to you. You might have seen the movie, some years back, and thought, "But it couldn't be possible!" I saw it too; I would say that Moira and Peter both looked better than the couple on-screen, but I can't fault the moviemakers for trying; it's an aunt's prerogative to believe that her own family is better looking than some paid actors. At least they got Neverland nearly right... I wonder if any of them had been there as a child-I'm sorry, I'm babbling, aren't I? Where was I? Oh yes: Now on the shelf before you stands a book, haughtily maintaining that the boy-who-would-always-remain-a-boy actually managed to grow up. It almost feels like your own childhood has been stolen, doesn't it? Yes, it's true; I, Margaret, I did it. I made Peter grow up. And I am sorry for it. Please read this story with an understanding heart, and forgive me. *Author's Note: This is meant to be a sort of "bridge" between the film Peter Pan, and the movie Hook, exploring the progression from carefree magic child to jaded workaholic.
