Her

To wake up in a cold sweat,
And realize they were once hot tears.
You know you love her,
It's burried in your bones.
It shines through,
In your smile when you see her.
You often fear and dream,
Of the ill-fated loss of her.
You wake up and reach for her hand next to you,
And she's there, alive and well with you.
She kisses your nose and lulls you back to sleep,
But passion and paranoia still reside in the hope:
"I hope this is 'her' ".
