Meet 14 year old Bree Matthews. The perfect erudite, Jeanine Matthews daughter, the next one to become the Erudite faction leader, the girl no one suspected to become a dauntless leader, the first jumper, the girl who was making a point to get the guy she fell for in erudite back. She was determined to show everyone that she wasn't the quiet shy girl from erudite anymore. She was meant to become a dauntless. She was meant for this.
Eric Coulter. The guy who transferred to dauntless when he was 16. The guy who always had a soft spot for his childhood bestfriend. So what happens when the two see each other when the dauntless initiates are standing on the roof top to enter the dauntless compound? What happens when Bree sees his arm around another girl? What will happen if Eric see the girl he left a year ago just to see her look at him with a broken distant look in her eyes? Will they find their way back to each other? Will Bree make it in dauntless? Will she prove everyone wrong?
