Carter's

Emma Carter, 17, is the daughter of Richard Carter, the owner of Carter's - one of the best diners in the city. She is liked by all her friends and is probably going to be valedictorian at graduation due to her perfect grades and good rep with the teachers. She wants an exciting summer before her final year of school begins. She hasn't planned anything as such but she has a feeling that this summer is going to be like no other. And boy, is she right!

Carter Reynolds has shifted to New Jersey for his last year of high school. The summer that lies ahead of him gives him plenty of time to settle down and make some friends while he's at it (or so his mother hopes). He's quite an introvert but that doesn't stop girls from throwing themselves at him, no matter how much disinterest he shows.

So when these two strangers cross paths, a series of eventful meetings take place. They don't get off to a good start but the bad blood between them doesn't last forever...
