The Gory Details (Gross)
Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated. I own the rights to the articles and Queen Mum of the Ooze, Kay Patterson has allowed me to keep the name "Gore Monger" (which she owns) provided I write: The Gore Monger appears courtesy of Nocturnal Ooze. And a side where they hated dragons, and the one that rode them. Even though we managed to work in peace, there was no war between us. Only fights that were under control and rules. In the Arena in the city called Aeloria. A city where there were both sides. They mostly ignored each other. But it was hard to get in this city. Mostly it was the people that lived there. And a few outsiders, but that was either the sellers, chosen group of warriors or dragon riders, and lastly the best fighters of the academies that went into the arena. To prove who is stronger and the winner will receive high quality weapons or any other things of their choice. One day the darkness came and war started. Not between us, but with a kingdom that was across the sea. And this battle or war changed everything we knew. I'm Ardyn, I'm on the side where we ride on dragons. And this story can be easy but also hard to understand. But I will still share it. But first we have to start from the beginning. What will this story bring? Will we be able to see the outcome? I'm not a fan of following rules, especially when the Dragons' hoarding obsession makes them the wealthiest patrons. I shouldn't be surprised when I'm kidnapped by the dragons upon failing to fulfil my end of an important deal. As if my luck couldn't be more of a bitch to me, I get kidnapped by none other than the three Dragons from one of the most powerful clans in the Arctic- Radrox, Ivret and Zorge. Now that they have me, I must pay for my failed deal in cash or kind. But that's not what they seem to be interested in, especially with the dwindling population of dragon ladies and their dangerous obsession with me. Those three dragons are definitely going to burn me but with a different kind of fire. ~ It can be read as a stand-alone book.
