Leaving the blazing city of Kanton-Elyp, behind them at unexpected speed, the mixed bag of tourists onboard Rhiffuston Cobalt's dragon airbus are having the ride of their lives - which is bad news for the unadventurous reporter but good news for the lost vegetarian...
In Kanton-Elyp, Peldon Flimp and Endrickle Heddup, are on the run - and in disguise.
The Orb theatre (Version 3) is rapidly re-built, designed by intuitive architect, Xanadu Wrendle, who wants to take the Orb to new heights. He hasn't reckoned on Shakeaspear's nightmare though, which he's turned into the un-finished play - 'Damnlet'.
Everything may have been okay - but for a certain Mr Porlock...
The play's alive, and it's got its own ending in mind.
How will it all play out?...

A New Beginning: Tessa's Story by CrystalScherer
55 parts Complete
Optional sequel to Upon Wings Of Change. (This is a version with *JUST* Tessa's POV (different from the main version, which has 3 POVs. Was my attempt to revise the slower pacing, but I'm not sure how well it worked, but since I put in the work, here it is.) Summary: The dragonets are flourishing; both those in the park and those helping the Kymari. As the first dragonets to hatch in the Kymari civilization, Tessa and her brother are paving a new path as they grow up and learn how to fit into the world. New beginnings are often great things, but sometimes shadows from the distant past come calling. Excerpt: I braced my feet against the wall as I pulled. Suddenly, the lever swung downward. I lost my grip and tumbled backward. I landed on my side and slid across the counter. My legs and tail flailed as I tried to get to my feet or slow down-but I didn't manage it in time. Almost in slow motion, my feet went off the counter as I slid into the air. Without thinking, my wings popped open and beat hard as I twisted, trying to turn right side up so I could fly properly. I blinked in shock when I realized I was already flying upward. Grinning triumphantly, I beat my wings again and went back to the counter. Pleased with my flying abilities, I proudly landed on the counter - and forgot to slow down, which promptly sent me sliding across the slippery surface, lightly colliding with the glass door. I ducked my head sheepishly, glad no one else had seen that. My eyes locked onto the gap between the glass doors. With an eager grin, I pressed my shoulder against the edge and pushed. My feet struggled to find traction, but it was opening! Once I pushed the door far enough, I scampered over to the cantaloupe. It was much bigger up close. I blinked slowly, trying to think about how I was going to move it. There was no way I'd be able to lift it. It was round though. Round things could roll, right?
Fading Echoes - The Echoes, Book 2 - HTTYD Fanfiction by DovefIower
34 parts Complete
Aphira had met the dragons when she was very young with her Mother and her brother, Whip. However, she didn't remember it, and not even the stories that her Mother told in vivid detail stirred her memory. But when one day, suddenly several beasts with wings land in the village, and several New Berkians announce that the dragons have returned, Aphira is tugged two ways: To follow in her Mother's footsteps, or to try to find a way to escape the dragon-filled life her Mother once lived. Whip was always fascinated by the stories of the dragons, and unlike his older sister, he remembered his first meeting with the dragons. But when a shocking secret is revealed about his identity and Aphira starts to stray farther and farther away from the life that Whip longs to live, he's tugged in more directions than he could ever imagine were possible...between his sister, himself...and the dragon that his Mother seems to want him to be. As the children of Kiara and Dagur are pulled further apart while the other children of the Riders are bonded closer together, they start to miss the real threat that only Aphira knows are on their borders...the threat that she might choose to side with to survive. Notice: This is a prequel of my first dedicated HTTYD Fanfiction: Howling Echoes. Please read that before reading this to understand some parts of the plot. Notice 2: Half of the characters are owned by Dreamworks! Some of them I made up. Notice 3: If you read Howling Echoes and got REALLY attached to Whiplash, well...you're gonna wanna read this.

IL BACK MAYBE POSSIBLY DONT HOLD YOUR BREATH!! (There won't be an update this Saturday (the 31st) bc I'm going to a wedding.) Johanna Erikson is a dead woman walking, a ghost. For a little over five years she's been running, fighting, surviving. All because her father believed humans and dragons could exist together peacefully. At fifteen, her village was burnt to a crisp and her family was murdered in cold blood by none other than Drago Bludvist. At twenty-one, she's the last one left, which means Drago wants her and everything she has ever loved removed from the archipelago like it never existed in the first place. What does Johanna do? She runs, she fights, and she survives. She keeps people out of her life in fear that they'll meet the same fate as her family. The only living thing she lets in is her Fate Screecher- Azalea. So when the most stubborn and sarcastic Viking north of Iceland decides that it's his current project to rehabilitate this battle-worn and cynical warrior, it's like hitting two rocks against each other. He just wants to help but she won't let him get any closer than that. It's like she's afraid of something, but she just won't tell him what! "One month. That's all I want. As soon as the leaves start to fall off the trees I want you to forget you ever met me." Just like a ghost. How does Johanna adjust to having a roof over her head for once? How does the village react to her? What bullshit will the gang drag her into? Will Hiccup manage to drag out her dark secrets? Will the ghosts of Johanna's past finally rest or come back to haunt her? TECHNICALLY NOT A SELF INSERT BUT HEAR ME OUT!! UPDATES ON SATURDAYS AT 6:00 PM EST/EDT! (Unless stated otherwise, but y'all will know dw) Started: February 21, 2025 Ended: TBD Most Recent Update: May 24, 2025
