17 year old Frank Iero had been diagnosed with stage three osteosarcoma in the fall of his junior year. that was a year ago and it's only gotten worse. He's had appointments, check-ins, treatments, surgeries, still nothing. About a month ago he was just walking to the kitchen from his room and his bone had been so weakened that his leg gave out and broke when he fell. He's been out of school for awhile, especially since then.
18 year year old Gerard Way was just your average high school student, he showed up, did most of his work, and liked to party and listen to music like most other kids. That was, until he met Frank the beginning of his senior year. He thought he looked cute. He also thought he look sick. Later on he realized he was oh so ever right. He also knew that Frank was going to die. There was nothing he could do about that. So he did what most other saddened and pitiful people did; he tried to make the best of it. And Frank wasn't having it.
