    Tegan Johnstone is no stranger to the fact that life isn't a fairytale. The year is 2023, and the knowledge of the existence of sirens is widespread. These surreal and mystical creatures that lived peacefully for thousands of years beneath the surface of the Atlantic ocean are now being hunted. Many have been hunted for their hair and tails. They're worth a ton of money if the hunter could kill one and sell the whole thing, and thousands upon thousands of dollars if he could complete the near-impossible task of catching and selling one alive.
