One Year Before: The Killer Strikes Again.

The killers knife glinted in the dim light of the streetlamp to her left. Noticing the gleam of her weapon, she backed away into the midnight shadows of the alleyway and begun to stalk her prey. Rin Hashimoto was the name of her victim. She was only a young girl, still in high school. The killer broke into a sprint, staying in the shadows so Rin would never see her coming. Dizzy in love, Rin held a flower, a gift from Akihiko, one of her classmates. Letting out a scream of pure hatred, the killer dashed forward and stabbed Rin in her stomach.
"Sorry, but you have to go!" the killer said sweetly with an innocent expression, "You are the only obstacle between me and my beloved!" The killer stepped out of the shadows so Rin could see her full face.
"No!" she wailed in disbelief and fear, "What are you doing? I thought you were my friend!Are you that crazed murderer?! Was it you the whole time-" Before Rin could say the the killer's name, her attacker plunged the knife into Rin's chest once more and carved out her heart.
Thump... Thump.... Thump.
It beated for a moment before stopping suddenly.
