Everything is not always as black and white as it seems...

Everything was manually done. Life in the orphanage slowly ticked away around an invisible clock. Things happened when they were meant to happen. Nothing was ever out of place. Nothing was ever new.

Everyone believed that they were safe.
Tick, tock.
Girls came and girls went.
Tick, tock.
Nothing would ever go wrong.

Tick, tock...

Then one day things did.

Wearing A Sign

17 parts Complete

The day it all went wrong is when the gods took away the mist. Mortals could see monsters and demigod power now, we came out of hiding. Showed the world what we could do, showed them we could help them. They didn't like that, 'too powerful' they said, 'will destroy us'. None of that was true, but they didn't believe us. So they made us wear a sign.
