Flames

The dark isn't always the warmest as is the sun.
But it welcomes all.
It's always around, be it around a corner or underneath a table, always by your side.
The sunlight can hurt, blister your skin, or be overwhelming while the darkness can comfort you, be your friend, lull you to sleep.
Even while the sun is about the darkness still lurks, waiting to be the shoulder to cry on.
