I was living a simple life until he came and ruined it completely. I knew he was a manipulative liar, an arrogant player yet I let him play me like a fool. Even after a year of constant ups and downs, there was a little part of me who believed that maybe one day he will change, he will love me like i love him but that day never came. It has been 3 years since he last saw me but i see him daily. He is all over the newspapers, internet, television and why wouldn't he be? After all he is a world known football player, dating a world known model. He is happy in his life and here I am, sitting in my one room apartment, with my two-year old son, trying to figure my life out and still hoping that one day he will come back, at least for our son. "I love you like I have loved the night with silent tears and lungs filled with water, gasping for air.i love you like i have loved the day, with its light too bright for my swollen eyes, begging for it to be gentle." Lifeline

She clung to people. He ran from people. She was broken. He thought he could mend her. She lost a baby. He lost his lifeline. She became his worst nightmare. He became her saving grace. She dished his greatest fear. He became her lifeline. **** "Don't. Touch. Me." I spat with tears. My mother gasped. "Kendra..." he whispered. "No! You said she'll be fine. You said it will be okay. Is this okay, No! You didn't keep your word..." I shouted and cried out the last part. I clutched his shirt in my hands and kept hitting him anywhere I could. Every other person in the room just cried. I kept on crying and hitting Ethan. A tear landed on my fist. It wasn't mine. I looked up to find Ethan crying. I didn't care that I was hurting him at the moment. It wasn't his fault. But Emily wasn't here. She never will be. *** This is purely a work of fiction and it's copyrighted. Do Not Steal My Work!
