This story takes place during X-Men First Class.  Mutants all over the world are being exposed and discovered.  Sebastian Shaw is trying to start World War III.  At the age of 20 Grace Turner meets Charles Xavier and Erik Lehnsherr, ever since they've met she has been very intrigued with the both of them.  Will she be able to control her powers to help the X-Men or will she fall victim to her own mind?

The X-Men and their storylines belong to Fox/Marvel.

Amidst such hardship and tragedy, it was unlikely that Erik Lensherr would've expected to come across anyone remotely like himself during one of the world's darkest times. Yet this is where he met Liesel Jäger, another unlikely discovery made by Sebastian Shaw. Being different could just get them through this, yet what happens afterwards? With Shaw on the run, it becomes apparent that Erik is determined to find him, while Liesel is uncertain. Perhaps with sudden recruiting she may just be swayed to joining in with stopping the madman from starting another world war. But once this is done and finished with...what then? New trouble arises, old friends return, and new ones appear. A peaceful simple life is all that Liesel had every really wanted, shame that it is the complete opposite to what Erik wishes for.

Fighting to keep her marriage together by strings, raise her daughter and hold herself together at the same time is taking a toll on her. So when her longtime friend and member of the Brotherhood of Mutants, Mystique, gives her a tip to join her on a mission to kill Bolivar Trask, she accepts. Just as she is about to walk out on her once-happy life, the adventure begins...
