Safe With Me

I kept giggling into the phone and shaking my head. Your words were all too perfect.

"I'm gonna marry you." he whispered. I smiled so big, my cheeks hurt but it felt so good to be happy.

"Okay. Deal."

I could hear the surprise in your voice. "Wait. Really? Stop giggling Im being serious. I want to marry you."

I smiled and held back my laughter, I nodded my head even though he couldn't see me. "Yes of course I'm serious."

I knew we weren't going to get married anytime soon, I still have many years ahead of me. But I knew for sure that I was going to marry you.

"I love you."
