Yes, sounds awesome right? Well, it can be, but it also can't be. She's a metahuman. Yep, you heard right. She was struck with that lighting in the same night Barry Allen was. Then, after the nine months of being in the hospital, she woke up. Then she ran. Her emotions hit, and she temporarily slowed down time in order for her to make a five mile walk in under three minutes. Call it, un-super speed if you'd like. She was confused. She had no clue how that happened, but she had to find how. Now, she was extremely smart. She did research. Then she saw many reports on the news about this man called "The Streak". She thought it was... Odd. The whole concept of superheroes and super humans. It was to unreal and childish for her. She didn't like the title 'superhero'. Until one night, the masked man, whose name has been recently changed to "The Flash", showed up on one of her missions. But ever since then her life hasn't been close to the same. It was weird to think that she had watched him sleeping for 9 months. She knew that Cisco would make some Captain America related reference to that, one of Colsen's lines, she was pretty sure, but it was true. She had stood by his bedside, held his hand, heck, she had stroked his hair to calm him down one evening she was watching him. And now, she was actually having her first conversation with him. And she had told him to pee in a cup. Who does that? That's just not something that people say. Then she had gone into full doctor mode and started prodding his chest muscles. That had been weird. Yes, she had technically know him for 9 months, but he had just met her. He talked with Wells, got the run down on his condition, and the entire time Caitlin was silent. She didn't add anything medical, for once in her life, because this was probably the strangest thing that had ever happened to her. A project that she had spent nine months of her life on, a project that had been her life for nine months, was now not just a project. He was a person. And he was actually pretty cute.
