Imagine a world where Christianity never came into being. Where the gods of Rome have survived into the present day. Tensions are rising between China and the nation of Nova Roma. A cult of Isis-worshippers known as the Sons of Horus has protested Roman activity in the Middle East. The Senate has recently decided to lift the ban regarding Kee Kanuntee's theory of evolution, all while the Emperor continues to push piety as the greatest of all virtues. "One Nation, Under Jupiter" is the story of Diagoras Cinna, a journalist out to explore the impact religion has had on modern society. Diagoras travels around the city of New Antioch, interviewing the city's most pious residents, from priests to political figures to ordinary citizens. As he continues his report, Diagoras risks more and more in his quest to attack the gods. His employers question the wisdom of printing anything that would draw the Emperor's ire. His slave Servius, himself a faithful believer, begins to question his loyalty to his master. Even Diagoras' own mental condition worsens, as he suffers the consequences of living as an atheist in a world where blasphemy is a criminal offense.

The gods do not weep for the fallen, only the living carry the weight of their blood. History is no fairytale, and Eternal Blood never pretends otherwise. This unflinching epic plunges readers into the brutal heart of the ancient world, where survival is never certain and morality bends to the will of the victorious. This is not a tale of noble heroes or monstrous villains. Eternal Blood moves through the chaos of battle, the grief of the defeated, and the hard grip of slavery. Every triumph demands a sacrifice. Every laurel is purchased with pain. There are no saints here, only men who bleed for what they believe is right. From the discipline of Rome's legions to the dying cries of their enemies, Eternal Blood reveals the raw truth of ambition and treachery, brotherhood and ruin. Every choice risks everything. Every victory leaves a scar. This is the ancient world stripped of illusion, where blood speaks louder than words and justice belongs to those with the strength to take it. Will you step into this relentless vision of the past?
