It is the year 2031, and Ray turns 17. Ray is no ordinary girl though. She has spent her life in a state of the art science lab that studies biology. Ray has been there guinea pig for the past seventeen years, when her mother gave birth to her in a mental institution she was given away for science. They injected her with needles, her only knowledge coming from books she read. Little does she know ever since she was 12 she could control the element of snow. Every thing about her is cold, but she wishes for more, to be free like the characters in her books, so when she escapes she must learn to survive.

"Her name is Hela," he replied, watching the infant lose interest in the shield and move onto something else. Hela looked up at the mention of her name and the same grin came across her face.
