The girl in the mirror with wet blue eyes stared at her image as the glimmer of euphoria and cheerfulness in her eyes turned into an unspoken pain. The girl looks lifeless and emotionless and void of feelings. The girl's hope was lacking. The hope that kept her alive. The hope that reminded her that the demons she has inside would change. Everyday she asks herself "why am I like this?". The girl in the mirror was me.

My scrawny legs were toned like a dancer. I reached down and lifted my shirt, revealing two subtle lines running vertically down my perfectly flat stomach, hinting at the rock-hard abs underneath.
