While on patrol in the somewhat splendiferous city of Sunset City, superhero not-so-extraordinaire Solar Ray (one of the only superheroes in the city), runs into some lowlife crooks. All they're doing is robbing a bank, the usual stuff for them.
After dealing with them, he finds himself to be a bit exhausted. There was more than last time, and he doesn't know why.
Is there something going on/down in the criminal underworld? Did the lead crook get some extra cash and hire some new hands?
Well whatever it is, it's been happening a lot lately, so Solar Ray decides he needs to get some help. He decides he needs.. a sidekick.
Will Solar Ray find the perfect sidekick? Or will they be something completely and totally unexpected?

I can still hear you rolling your eyes. Superheroes. Like in comic books? Like people with super speed and mutant powers? Yes. But this isn't about the fight they have. More about the lives they lead without the masks. But just keep in mind, people who live in the world have all different skin colours. Do not assume my characters are of one unless I state them explicitly. and diversity is welcome here in my novel! Anyhow, back to the story. Ever wonder where supervillains go after their fight with the hero? What about the other side of the story? It's not like they sit in their lair cackling all day and planning how to kidnap reporters. What about the lives they lead? And instead of just focusing on that, what if the superhero and the supervillain knew each other? I mean, can they see behind the mask? No, so their identities are secret. So what if the hero and villain were best friends? What if they were roommates? What if they were falling for each other? And what happens when they find out? Now, I assume you know all of these questions will be answered in this book. But hold on. It's going to take a while. You're in for a bumpy ride. And if any of you got any of the references in this description, give yourself a pat on the back. That is a beautiful thing. Story Of Dome
This is a prequel to my other story known as Futuristic world (Furry x human). I HIGHLY recommend reading that story first before this one, otherwise this story will make zero sense at all. Also if you don't really like the first story, then you probably won't care about this one anyways. This story will follow Dome and his backstory before he met Y/N in Futuristic world. This way you can get to know Dome from my original story a little bit more. I do not own any of the art used in this story. credit goes to the original and talented artist. He is a simple protogen with a sense of humor. He's a man with his own flaws, just like everyone else, but he has a weird way of seeing the positive of everything... Well... Not everything. Dome's bestie known as Conner lost his wife and reluctantly started taking therapy after Dome, the good friend that he is, forced him to. Conner makes small improvements overtime... Until one day where the downward spiral for both Conner and Dome begins. Conner loses his last bit of family left.. his daughter.. to a mysterious killer who manages to hide his trace. Conner, now seeking any kind of closure, loses his mind. Finally reaching a breaking point and blaming Dome for everything. Threatening to kill him for what he had done. Dome, despite feeling guilty, doesn't give up hope. He will do what the police couldn't, and find whoever killed the daughter of who used to be his best friend, but is now hunting him all around Night Glow City, and never stopping until Dome is dead. Dome has to get to the bottom of this murder mystery himself...
