I looked at him and I felt my soul being torn apart.

His blue eyes were staring at me, captivating me, haunting me.

They reminded me of the deep-blue eyes that imprinted itself into my memory. A memory that I wanted to forget. A memory that brought back the monsters of my past.

But as I stare back at those blue eyes, all I see is longing and sadness.

And I wanted nothing more than to drown in them.
