Maria Merryweather goes to stay with her uncle until her father gets back from his extended business trip. Maria and her Nanny Ms. Heliotrope travel to Moonacre Valley, where she meets this arrogant individual Robin De Noir. Unfortunately, neither of the teens can deny their growing attraction towards each other. Maria comes to find their is a feud between the families, that prevent her and Robin to be together.
