When I heard the sound of someone jumping, I woke up. I went towards the balcony in my bedroom. I peeked through the screen to see a man in black hood, jumping over roofs. I kept looking sneakily with the curtain covering me. I noticed his face, and his features were not an easy one to forget. He even had a shaved slit on the end of his eyebrow.
He turned his head towards me making me drop the curtain which I had held. I didn't know whether he saw me or not. Now that I was scared, I hurried to my bed without making any noise. I lay down and acted as though I was sleeping.

I heard him jump very close by, meaning my balcony. I lay still, acting asleep. I could hear a patter of footsteps approaching my bed.
If he didn't know I saw him, he wouldn't kill me.
