In our world, when you turn 18, you receive a special gift from the Council of Leaders. It is a charm necklace. The charm is a very unique shape, and is only half of what it is supposed to be. Someone around the world of the opposite gender, your true destiny, has the other half. These charms are meant to bring the two together, to love each other for eternity, IF they are willing to risk anything, including their lives, to find their other half. The charms glow when near each other, fade when far apart, and when connected, will bond together - but cannot be broken - and the couple fall for each other.
