I ignored him as I stomped off back to my seat with Jordan.
"I always knew you were a bad swimmer and had no manners," I heard him say in a 'tsk' voice.
That's when I had it. I balled my fists up, trying my best to keep them to my side.
"Look, as much as I'm really thankful that you saved my life, I'd much rather have died than to face the fact that you're back in town!" I snapped at him through gritted teeth.
He flinched at my sudden outburst but then the corners of his mouth twitched into a wicked smirk.
"Don't act like you didn't miss me. But I'm back and here to stay. And there's not a damn thing you can do about it."
