Serpentines are snake hybrid creatures that can take complete human form with an exotic beauty around them. They once thrived in the past, but now their numbers are dwindling. Captured by poachers to be sold on the black market. The remaining few now live at Survey Corps Sanctuary, dedicated to protecting the Serpentines and hopefully repopulate to species.
Levi is one of the last few remaining Serpentines and the only one left that can bear young. He is also one of the most difficult Serpentine to care for because he doesn't trust any humans despite their good intentions. This causes all of his previous caretakers to quit after the first week.
But then he meets his new caretaker named Eren Jäger, he begins to fall in love with Eren.
