Heartless is a demon killer, used by an organization called The Society, to keep peace between the human and demon worlds. She lives out her days either soaked in blood or staring up at the grey ceiling of her personal prison. Every mission is the same for her until one day she is charged with the task of posing as a human in infiltrating the world and working her way into the family of the leader of a human organization bent on the destruction of the The Society & the demon race. She thinks it will be easy, but once there Heartless...feels...things she's never experienced before. This one, supposedly simple, mission uncovers more questions and secrets than Heartless had thought of before. And they all seem to answer the same question: what are you Heartless?
