The two tales of Cinderella and Rumpelstiltskin are twisted. They are different from their stories, and the new ways the story travels lead the two tales to twist together.
Mandy lives in the present era, a super-smart scientist in college despite her young age. A cute guy seems to find Mandy very interesting. A spiteful girl develops a strong hatred for her. A science fair is going to be held. All this is promising to make Mandy's new life very interesting.
Periwinkle, known as Ri, is a girl in the medieval ages. Her mother is dead, and her father doesn't want her. Now she's in the King's palace, being told to spin straw into gold. What is King Dedrick's secret? What will Ri do when confronted with Rumpelstiltskin?
Now the two tales are merging. Two villains are coming together, and two very different and very brave girls have to team up to stop them.
