The two tales of Cinderella and Rumpelstiltskin are twisted. They are different from their stories, and the new ways the story travels lead the two tales to twist together. Mandy lives in the present era, a super-smart scientist in college despite her young age. A cute guy seems to find Mandy very interesting. A spiteful girl develops a strong hatred for her. A science fair is going to be held. All this is promising to make Mandy's new life very interesting. Periwinkle, known as Ri, is a girl in the medieval ages. Her mother is dead, and her father doesn't want her. Now she's in the King's palace, being told to spin straw into gold. What is King Dedrick's secret? What will Ri do when confronted with Rumpelstiltskin? Now the two tales are merging. Two villains are coming together, and two very different and very brave girls have to team up to stop them.

Princess Bryony Werner is used to being told "no". She's the heir to the throne, after all, and that doesn't leave much time for riding or shooting arrows. So when she pulls off her most daring antic yet, she's sent to Camelome to learn to become a lady--and perhaps gain some wisdom on how to rule. But King Uther has more pressing issues--namely the band of thieves continually stealing from his guards. Luce of Locksley has a legacy to live up to. By day, he's the Lord of the Manor, best friend of Prince Arthur--by night, he takes on the mantle of "Robin Hood" passed down to him from his father. But his goal isn't just to redistribute wealth--it's to end Uther's tyranny of magic, once and for all. And he dares to hope that maybe the new girl whose mother famously dealt with magical shoes might be able to help him...
