*SPECIAL THANKS TO veronica17 FOR THE AWESOME COVER!! *
The school was quiet, it always was this early in the morning. No one ever came here at this time, not even the teachers. The only people here were Doug the caretaker and little Hailey Mayfield.
Now Hailey was what you would call an outcast. She had no friends, and nobody really cared enough to be enemys. She was the kind of girl who would much rather stand behind the camera, you know, the one person who you look at in pictures and wonder 'Who is she?', and try to remember her name, but no matter how hard you try, you'll only really remember it starts with 'H'. Teachers always struggled to remember her name, and when reading out the register, never failed at being surprised to find her name on it.
She was the blend in type, always there, but never noticed.
Liam White, however was the complete opposite. For him, life couldn't be better. Everyone knew his name, knew who he was, it was impossible not to. He was the 'it' boy, extremely popular, good-looking, check, he was even filthy rich. Everyone either wanted to be him or with him. He was loved by everyone, adults, children-boys included. Just as it was impossible to not know his name, as was it to not like him. He was living the high life, (well as much as a twelve year old could) and loving every single minuet of it.
He was the one that walked into the room, and everything stopped. Always there, never un-noticed.
Hailey, she longed to be known, to be popular and beautiful, just like the girls you'd see on the t.v and magazines. She wished to have a life like Liam's -yes, even her, the school loner knew of Liam White. And she would to, except she was too afraid, to scared do anything about it. Never going forward, always stuck at the back.
All this changed when Liam just happened to come to school early. When, the unlikely pair just happen to bump into each other in the deserted hallways. Just happen to change each others life.
And this my friend, this
Ella is falling apart trying to live a "perfect" high school life. Then she meets Ren, who can see past her scars. Suddenly perfection isn't her only option.

If Ella dates Ren, it will ruin her friendship with Jenny. But if she stays true to Jenny, she's losing the one person who can see past her scars.
