The Best Friend Project is a thing that kids do to get their crush or "Best friend" to get them to like them back. It starts on the last month of school and ends on the last day.
 Ella, the invisible girl with a solo career, is in love with a boy named Alex. She holds her breath when the thought of ending up with Alex is possible.
 But Alex isn't your typical jock, he's an awkward person with a huge career in front of him. He's the lead singer of a band that has released dozens of albums over the years.
 He has a secret that he wishes to tell Ella. He hopes that he will tell her in time and that they will not get pulled away from each other by this.
