A sinister laugh sounded from the shadows.
I shivered. But not with fear. With anticipation.
"Why so serious?" His raspy voice echoed hollowly through my brain.
Instead of screaming, I found myself smiling, my mouth copying the curves of his insane grin. "Who said anything about serious? This is fun."
