When Mick gets a call that his parents died in a car crash, he has to go live with his Nanna and triplet cousins Tarrah, Tessa, and Lilly. They tell him that his parents aren't really dead, but captured by an evil dictator named Kie in a land called Edelantis. They journey to Edelantis through a portal to save Mick's parents. To Mick's surprise, Nanna has long hair, Tarrah can fly, Lilly can turn into a mermaid, and he can speak telepathically with Tessa. They journey throughout the land at meet new people, including Mick's best friend Zac and the dictator's rebel daughter Jen. Will Mick and the others be able to free Mick's parents and defeat the dictator?
