There has been peace in Ioria for centuries after Azkumaal's War. A war that devastated the world and left one kingdom in a crater. Umbriel, one of now thirteen kingdoms in Ioria, begins a conquest of more land and power. The surrounding kingdoms decide to fight back but many don't have armies and the ones that do aren't prepared for what Umbriel has created.
Lance lives in Solaris and is friends with Selene, a dragon fanatic, and the two of them become mixed in the center of this new war when they save the Princess of Solaris from an invasion. They must travel across Ioria in the war to stop Umbriel and uncover the truth of why Umbriel is fighting.
