Beauty and the Beast: Rewritten The prince opened the door to his room and walked his way to the bed. Until he caught a glance of something moving in the mirror. He took a step back, slowly turning into the mirror, trying to take a glimpse of that something. He was terrified. His heart jumped in horror. It thumped like a wild animal wanting to be freed. Staring in the mirror was a hairy beast with huge white fangs visible even without gnarling. Its fur was yellowish brown, the same color as his hair. The same bluest blue orbs stared right back at him. He shivered as he felt how cold and unnerving and unmerciful the beast's eyes were. The beast's eyes widened as if it was terrified of what it saw. Finally, the prince let out a loud and horrifying scream. And was surprised that it came as a howl and not a terrifying shriek. Tale as old as time.
