Love is like an incomplete roller coaster.  Violette Kim is starting her senior year of high school, and life couldn't be more perfect.  Everyone loves her, no one hates her, and her best friend, Lysander, is standing by her side through thick and thin.  
  
  Or it was perfect until she realizes she has begun to form feelings for him.  This is only the beginning of the ups and downs of her senior year.  Within this one time period, she feels everything at once: jealousy, love, and heartbreak.  
  
  Lysander, on the other hand, falls madly in love with Cressaeda. Cressaeda despises school; the only thing that keeps her going is graduation.  Along with loathing school, she resents popularity, and anything to do  with socializing--including boys like Lysander. Not to mention that both of them are too stubborn to ever admit any feelings, if they even exist.
