When the War is Over

I was young once. I know, to you kids with your gadgets and websites, it might seem hard to fathom that this wrinkly old lady was once young like you. I was though. But unlike you, I was young in a time when the world was a dangerous place, with many a thing that you would never have now. I had a card with my name on just to get food! A ration card it was called, yes. You see, I was young in a time you will no doubt hear of, a topic you will most likely learn. I was young in the war, world war two, And this is my story.
