Under the Streetlight - Newtmas by SybillGray

Minho and Thomas are the best of friends, and they live conveniently close to each other. They hang out with a small circle of friends, which has always been the case. However, recently, Minho has been subtly mentioning a friend of his from Bristol, England named Newt. According to the idea, he was supposed to come in a few months as an exchange student and stay in Minho's house for the entire duration. Thomas was fine with it, as he was a considerably friendly person and trusted that two months would be easy to manage. What could possibly go wrong? Well, if falling in love was a bad thing... then, a lot, a lot could go wrong. (Some drawings in random chapters!!) Cover and all art by me! The world is black and white until you touch your soulmate; then color explodes before your eyes {written from a prompt} Newt has yet to find his soulmate. He acts like he doesn't care to the public but he truly longs to see the beautiful colors that Minho tells him about. Even more he longs for someone to love and someone to love him. Thomas is alone but unsearching. He doesn't mind the calm black and white of the world. It would be nice to have someone like his best friend Teresa but the world works in mysterious ways.

Color. It's something our brain makes up. It doesn't really exist. So how come everyone made a big fuss about meeting and touching their soulmate so they could see in color? After all, what's so bad about black and white? Aren't they colors too? That's what Nico thought anyway. When he was younger he had tried to imagine a new color but had never been able to. His sister had died seeing the world in black in white. Nico didn't see the point of color. That is, until he touches his soulmate and sees what he's been missing out on... Edited January 2024.

They only have gym class together. They're not even friends. At least at the start they weren't. But when Newt sees Thomas passed out drunk at a party things take a turn ;) A turn that Newt wasn't expecting (*multiple winks*) (Know that there is swearing in this story)

What will happen when one is very calm and peaceful sweet sunlight and another is like dark and terrifying darkness of the night. When such completely opposite images will clash with each other. The sweet sunlight will be scorching or the darkness will be bright, it will be a sight worth seeing. Or a completely different world will be created which neither of these two would have wanted nor ever thought of.
