She was born Princess Gwenwyn Helena Anannet Egger, first-born child of the Great King Heralf, ruler of the Militant Kingdom of Rramnon. Shortly after her sixteenth birthday, Gwenwyn's father sent her to the Trade Kingdom, Terrafeuw, with a very special task. She was to gain the hand of the King Griggory so that her heirs, and next rulers of the Terrafein throne would be loyal to Rramnon.

She accepts the task and manages to gain the favor of the elderly King, but then something happens that threatens to destroy her father's scheme. She falls in love.

The brighter a light shines, the darker the shadows around it will appear.
