Starting at a new school seems like the perfect opportunity to blend into the background, but it isn't far enough away to start over. Some people just won't let him forget about his past. The teachers don't understand. He can't tell them why. He can't say anything at all. Ross understands. Ross writes to him. Slowly, he pulls Jude out of his shell, waiting for him to say something. ----- Say Something is a story of overcoming fear with the help of friendship and love. As someone who has struggled with anxiety, I tried to do something a little different with my writing style this time by including a lot of thoughts and feelings rather than a ton of description and detail. I'd like to add that it mentions things like sex and violence but I don't plan on going into any graphic detail in this story. There is also occasional cursing. "I walked over to where Aaron was sitting on the ground, kneeling so that I was face-to-face with him. He was wearing a blank expression on his face so I guess he didn't really care if I kissed him or not. My life has been through its ups and downs but by far this is the worst. Never have I thought I would have suffer this much. With father abusing me, the bullies at school and worst of all the fact that I have no one to depend on Its just killing me. So now the only way I can save myself is running away and I just don't know where to but I know I'll be long gone. I'm already in my last year of high school, yeah I know I'm really smart only 16 and is in 12th grade but hey its by not giving up right-------not giving up, and with the help of four boys and there manger from Mindless Behavior I intend not to "Hopefully".
