She hails from colorado but is forced to move, to live in a small little town she has deemed hell and has resented her father for bringing her here along with the rest of her family. The Monster seems to only be interested in Maria and targets her specifically, She has no clue as to why it's haunting her, no, hunting her, but she's determined to find out and put a stop to it before it can send the grim reaper her way.
