"Nicole" I call my girlfriend.
"Nicole, can I speak to you in private?" I ask her.
"Babes you can talk to me in front of everyone" She smiles. But it's not a smile, it's a sly grin on her face.
"Nah, Nicole, I need to speak to you in private" I emphasize every word. She just stares at me blankly.
"Right well I think we should break up" I declare loud and clear.
She sweeps her black hair behind her back and narrows her eyes at me.
"Babe, what are you talking about? Don't you love me?"
"Not anymore, I haven't loved you for a while Nicole" I shrug honestly. I knew this was social suicide for my girlfriend, but I asked her to step aside and she didn't.
I tried, she didn't. This is how it ends. The 'It' couple as they called us is over.
I turn on my heels, casually walking away.
"Just so you know River Grayson, I've been sleeping with the football team"
I stop dead in my tracks and slowly turn around as the shock settles in me.
"You've been sleeping with my mates" I ask stunned. Disgust washes over me.
I look over the faces of my teammates, some look shocked others looked guilty.
"3 months into our relationships," She professes proudly. Damn it, that's not something you should be proud of.
