Harper Rose was only seven years old when she witnessed her parents' deaths. Now, she is fifteen and a trainee in the cadet corps. She is a slacker and a recluse, until Captain Levi takes notice of her. From the first glance he realizes that she is different, and somehow he felt the need to help her. He helps her realize her potential, and she joins the Special Operations unit of the Survey Corps, but his job isn't over after that. Harper has begun to look up to him as a sort of father figure, and he has become completely entwined in the life of this young teenage girl. But can he manage to fill the parent-shaped holes the titans have left in her heart?
