Zak, Kara, and six year-old Kritter had no idea what kind of shit they were getting themselves involved in when each of them let a oversized albino wolf into their homes. They were getting themselves into a war of good vs evil and there was no turning back. They were getting into the world of the supernatural, Werewolves, Dragonflyers, Nymphs, Dryads, Dragon, and creatures of darkness called shadow-morphs which use the power of darkness to change into any form they want. But more importantly they were now marked down on the hit-list of an even greater evil that they would never imagine existed. They'd gotten themselves involved in something they could never escape. Their lives would change forever.

I don't know how to explain it but it felt as though my brain was tearing in two, like my head was cracking open. When the pain stopped, I found myself surrounded by wolves, the shifted pups. She would drive them to school, go work out at the gym, come home and get a shower and some food, and then go work at the local bakery in town. Jacob and his friends would go to the bakery everyday after school and stay there until she got off work, for her to drive them back home and hang out for a while longer. After six months, Sophia learns her sister is coming to Forks to stay with their father. Sophia becomes infuriated, all because her sister is coming back.
