Zak, Kara, and six year-old Kritter had no idea what kind of shit they were getting themselves involved in when each of them let a oversized albino wolf into their homes. They were getting themselves into a war of good vs evil and there was no turning back. They were getting into the world of the supernatural, Werewolves, Dragonflyers, Nymphs, Dryads, Dragon, and creatures of darkness called shadow-morphs which use the power of darkness to change into any form they want. But more importantly they were now marked down on the hit-list of an even greater evil that they would never imagine existed. They'd gotten themselves involved in something they could never escape. Their lives would change forever.

A murderous pack trespassed onto their land and took one after another down, soon enough, Harmony was surrounded by blood of her friends, lifeless bodies surrounded her. She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest.
